Présentation du film de Vincent Perez « Seul dans Berlin »

Mardi 15 novembre 2022 nous avons présenté le film de Vincent Perez « Seul dans Berlin », adapté du livre de Hans Fallada.
L’histoire est inspirée d’un fait réel et il évoque l’action d’un couple d’ouvriers allemands qui décide, après la mort de leur fils à la guerre, de mener une action de résistance au régime nazi. Dans une atmosphère de délation omniprésente, de répression impitoyable, ils mènent leur combat jusqu’au bout en espérant que leur voix sera entendue, ne serait-ce que par une seule personne.
Le film montre bien l’atmosphère de peur, de soumission, mais aussi d’adhésion au nazisme qui règne dans le Berlin de la guerre.
Le débat qui a suivi le film a été riche et passionnant. Il s’est déroulé dans une salle comble avec un public de qualité qui a posé les bonnes questions permettant d’approfondir les thèmes portés par le film.
La discussion a été animée par Hélène Bayard, fondatrice de la Compagnie de l’Arbre sec avec laquelle nous avons déjà beaucoup travaillé, qui a su, notamment grâce à sa réflexion sur la montée du nazisme lors de l’adaptation qu’elle a réalisée de la pièce de Brecht « Grand peur et misère du Troisième Reich » apporter un éclairage vivant sur la situation montrée par le film. Je la remercie, au nom de notre association, de la qualité de sa présentation et de sa participation.
