Compte-rendu de la soirée d’hommage à Missak Manouchian – UCFAF-ADVR

Depuis de nombreuses années nous sommes associés régulièrement, autour du 21 février, date de l’exécution de Missak Manouchian et de ses compagnons de l’Affiche rouge, à la commémoration de la mémoire de ces combattants « étrangers et nos frères pourtant », organisée par nos amis de l’UCFAF (union culturelle française des Arméniens de France).
Cette année, la table ronde qui s’est tenue au Centre culturel arménien avait pour thème la future panthéonisation de Missak et Mélinée Manouchian. Étaient réunis  pour en parler René Dzagoyan qui fut en 2014 à l’initiative de cette demande, Jean-Marc Germain, premier signataire de l’appel, le sénateur Rémy Féraud, fidèle de soirée commémorative de l’UCFAF, Robert Halleux, historien, membre de l’Institut, le professeur Jean-Pierre Mahé, membre de l’Institut, Laurence Patrice, adjointe à la maire de Paris pour la Mémoire et le Monde combattant,Edmond Yanékian, président de l’UCFAF et également président de la séance,  et moi-même, pour l’ADVR.
La discussion a permis de connaître les étapes conduisant à la quasi certitude que le couple Manouchian ( et peut-être, symboliquement, le Groupe, mais ce point n’est pas encore acquis) entrera au Panthéon le 21 février prochain pour le 80° anniversaire de l’exécution de Missak. L’importance de l’événement consistant à faire rentrer au Panthéon Missak et Mélinée, étrangers et de surcroît communistes a été souligné par tous. Cet événement constituera une étape essentielle pour la reconnaissance du rôle joué par tous les combattants FTP-MOI pour libérer la France et pour faire vivre les valeurs qu’elle porte.
Une soirée passionnante, importante et émouvante.
