Compte-rendu du 8 mai de l’ADVR

Comme l’avaient suggéré nos amis du Comité Parisien de la Libération, nous avons commémoré à notre façon le 75e anniversaire de la capitulation sans condition de l’Allemagne.
En respectant, naturellement, les précautions sanitaires qui s’imposent nous avons donné rendez-vous à quelques amis-amies du quartier sur le lieu du tunnel de la petite ceinture (rue de Ménilmontant, en face ode la rue Sorbier) et nous avons fleuri la plaque qui évoque les cinq résistants morts au combat à cet endroit. Des militants du parti communiste du quartier nous ont rejoints avec leurs drapeaux rouges et, partis à trois nous nous vîmes près de 20 en arrivant au rendez-vous.
Notre amie Marianne Delranc a évoqué la figure d’un de ces combattants, un Allemand, Peter Menden, ancien des Brigades internationales. J’ai ensuite pris la parole au nom de l’ADVR.
C’était un beau moment, chaleureux.
Des voitures ont klaxonné pour exprimer leur soutien à cette cérémonie.
