Il y a 72 ans cette année…

Le 8 mai 1945, l’Allemagne nazie capitulait sans conditions. C’était le retour à la paix et à la liberté dans une République à réorganiser démocratiquement. C’était aussi l’espoir d’une quiétude mondiale.

Aujourd’hui, avec les différents conflits internationaux et les attentats de toute sorte, on peut s’interroger sur notre candeur passée.

En 1945, le 8 mai était particulièrement la grande victoire des armées alliées. Mais, pour nous Français, c’était surtout celle de la résistance à l’oppression. La Résistance dans son

ensemble : l’extérieure grâce au général de Gaulle et à ses hommes repliés en Angleterre, et l’intérieure par la témérité du peuple sur notre territoire. Ceci dans une union totale difficile à obtenir, mais alliance tout de même et cela Robert Chambeiron l’a souvent expliqué. Souvenons-nous que cette Seconde guerre mondiale a été la plus meurtrière de tous les temps : 55 millions de morts, plus de 3 millions de disparus, environ 35 millions de blessés…

Souvenons-nous, surtout cette année où nous élisons un nouveau président. Souvenons- nous de ceux qui ont su rétablir une République où il fait bon vivre malgré les soucis d’organisation…
