Inauguration du square Léon Zyguel dans le 20e

Quinze jours tout juste après la soirée que l’ADVR a consacrée à Léon Zyguel, un square portant son nom a été inauguré dans le 20e arrondissement de Paris.

C’est un bel hommage qui lui est ainsi rendu. Enfant de l’école de la rue Tlemcen, déporté à Auschwitz, animateur du comité Tlemcen, militant inlassable de la mémoire, Léon Zyguel a ainsi été justement honoré par la ville de Paris et, à travers lui, c’est tout le travail du comité Tlemcen qui l’a été.

Malgré le froid vif, une foule importante a participé à cette cérémonie présidée par Madame Frédérique Calandra, maire du 20e arrondissement, en présence de Madame Catherine Vieu-Charier, chargée de la mémoire et du monde combattant pour la Ville de Paris, de Monsieur Thierry Blandin, adjoint chargé der la mémoire pour le 20e arrondissement et de Madame Rachel Jédinak présidente du Comité Tlemcen.
