75° anniversaire de l’exécution des 22 du groupe Manouchian

Vendredi 15 février, en partenariat avec l’UCFAF (Union culturelle française des Arméniens de France), à l’occasion du75° anniversaire de l’exécution des membres du groupe Manouchian au Mont Valérien le 21 février 1944, nous avons proposé le film de Christophe Betenfeld et Sébastien Viaud « Partisans de la liberté ». Ce beau film, que nous avions déjà présenté il y a deux ans, a été suivi d’un débat entre les deux réalisateurs et un public nombreux…

Le film montre le travail réalisé au cours d’une année scolaire entière (2009-2010) par les deux professeurs-réalisateurs, Christophe, professeur d’histoire, Sébastien, professeur de lettres, mais aussi par leurs collègues d’art plastique, de musique, d’Espagnol, dans une classe de 3° difficile, composée de très nombreux élèves d’origine étrangère.

Le travail a été centré sur le groupe Manouchian, puisque Missak a été arrêté à quelques centaines de mètres du collège, avec la participation de Henry Karayan, Raymond Aubrac et Didier Daeninckx (auteur de
« Missak »).



Mais le personnage principal est Henry Karayan, alors l’un des deux derniers survivants du groupe Manouchian, qui a su conquérir le coeur des élèves et faciliter leur adhésion enthousiaste à ce travail. Et l’on voit au fil du film s’opérer la métamorphose de ces élèves qui s’approprient la mémoire de chacun des membres du groupe, qui se rendent au cimetière d’Ivry où reposent les fusillés pour leur rendre un bel hommage.

Henry Karayan a ainsi réalisé avec les professeurs un travail d’intégration remarquable de ces élèves qui font leur la mémoire de la Résistance et qui font de cette page de l’Histoire de la France une page de leur propre histoire.

Un seul regret, et un gros, que l’Education nationale qui n’a pas soutenu le travail exemplaire de Christophe et de Sébastien n’ait pas non plus voulu s’impliquer dans la diffusion du film pourtant riche d’enseignements ! Mais c’est ainsi et cela n’a surpris personne.
