La loi du 19 juillet 2013 institue une Journée Nationale de la Résistance(JNR). Elle est fixée au 27 mai, historique date anniversaire de la première réunion dans la plus totale clandestinité du Conseil National de la Résistance en présence de Jean Moulin.
En cette année des 80 ans du CNR et de la mort de Jean Moulin, le rendez-vous commémorant ce moment est prévu samedi 27 mai prochain à 10 heures 30, devant le 48 de la rue du Four (6ème arrondissement) pour un hommage qui se veut populaire et démocratique.
Le Comité Parisien de la Libération (CPL) qui héberge les plus de 80 associations porteuses des valeurs et de la mémoire de la Résistance dans la capitale et les anciens départements de la Seine, qui anime leur Comité de pilotage, organise en leur nom ce traditionnel rassemblement mémoriel.
A l’heure où l’extrême droite se voit autorisée à défiler dans les rues de Paris, il est indispensable de resserrer les rangs de tous les défenseurs de la démocratie, des libertés publiques et privées, de tous ceux qui récusent le racisme et l’antisémitisme, qui combattent les inégalités sociales et sociétales.
Dans ce contexte, le CPL et le COPIL de la JNR à Paris, ses 80 associations mémorielles, se déclarent surpris et profondément attristés par la décision du Président de la République, d’honorer dans la plus grande discrétion le CNR et son fondateur, demain 24 mai au soir, entouré seulement de quelques invités.
En ignorant les rendez-vous des 25, 26 et 27 mai 2023, organisés par le CPL et les associations patriotiques avec les derniers résistants encore présents , les ultimes témoins, les enfants des écoles, collèges et lycées, des artistes et créateurs, le Président Macron tourne le dos au monde résistant, celui là même qui, année après année, se porte volontaire pour transmettre à la jeunesse de notre pays, le message de gloire et de sang de la Résistance française, de sacrifice et de renouveau.
