Chers amis de l’ADVR,

J’ai la grande tristesse de vous annoncer le décès de notre camarade Annick Burgard, née Clémence Jayet, survenu le 16 janvier dans sa 96° année.

Annick Burgard avait rejoint notre association dès sa création en 2013, elle était membre du Conseil d’administration et du Comité d’honneur de l’ADVR. Elle participait aussi à toutes les rencontres élèves/ résistants du lycée Hélène Boucher depuis le début il y a plus de 20 ans. Elle était une amie fidèle, active et toujours enthousiaste.

Etudiante en droit à Lyon, patriote fervente, elle entre en résistance dès 1940 en rédigeant et distribuant des tracts. Tout naturellement, elle entre à Libération-Sud puisque ses parents hébergent souvent Ravanel et accueillent aussi de multiples réunions de ce mouvement. Elle devient agent de liaison de Ravanel à Libé-Sud, puis aux Mouvements Unis de Résistance (MUR) et sillonne l’Ain, le Jura, la Savoie et la Saône et Loire. Et, comme elle le disait souvent « quand on est jeune on n’a pas peur… », mais le 3 août 1944, elle est arrêtée avec 27 de ses camarades. Vigoureusement interrogée, elle ne parle pas. Elle est internée à la Prison de Montluc. La libération de Lyon lui permet de retrouver la liberté et de reprendre aussitôt le combat dès le 24 août. Elle se consacre ensuite à l’accueil de déportés.

A partir des années 60, elle aura une inlassable activité au service de la Mémoire, réalisant de nombreuses expositions aux Invalides, participant à l’organisation du musée de la Seconde guerre mondiale aux Invalides, à celui du Struthof et aussi à celui de Verdun. Le 14 décembre dernier se tenait un conseil d’administration du musée de Verdun dont Annick était membre mais elle avait préféré participer à la cérémonie du centenaire de Pierrette Rossi et de Jeannette Borzakian aux côtés de ses amis de l’ADVR. Nous avons à cette occasion évoqué avec elle nos projets pour les années à venir…

Nous perdons une amie, une militante inlassable au service de la Mémoire. Clémence (Annick était son pseudo de résistante) vous nous manquerez.
