Lundi 5 février 2018 notre association était invitée à la commémoration de la bataille de Stalingrad, à l’occasion de son 75e anniversaire.
La cérémonie était organisée au centre culturel de Russie, quai Branly, et elle précédait l’inauguration de deux expositions :
L’une sur la bataille de Stalingrad, « Stalingrad dans le destin de la France ».
L’autre sur Volgograd aujourd’hui,« Stalingrad, appel à la paix ».
Après les interventions du directeur du centre culturel russe de Paris, du maire actuel de Volgograd et de l’ancien maire de Stalingrad, c’est notre ami, ancien débuté, Pierre Pranchère (voir photo ci-dessous) qui est intervenu en rappelant l’importance militaire et psychologique de la victoire Russe de février 1943 sur l’armée allemande dans la poursuite de la guerre. Il a souligné le prix payé par l’armée rouge et le peuple russe dans la victoire sur le nazisme.
